The Muttontown Club is seeking an experienced and passionate Kitchen Manager to join our culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to oversee daily kitchen operations at one of Long Island’s premier private country clubs.
Our club hosts exceptional weddings, social events, golf outings, and member dining experiences, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure efficient food preparation.
- Manage kitchen staff scheduling, training, and performance.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and food cost controls.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and management team.
- Assist with banquet production, member dining, and special events.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of kitchen management or supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Country club, hotel, or upscale restaurant experience preferred.
